Losing a father is painful for most and also vastly different for everyone. Some know this kind of Grief personally from significant losses of their own, while others know Grief in more subtle ways; the loss of friends, home, dreams and self. There is a difference in details in each of our stories with Grief, but there is a common thread: Grief is messy and non-linear. Grief is universal, yet so ignored. Grief beckons to each of us to come and sit at its feet, to feel, to learn and to heal. Within Grief, there are many gifts of self, wisdom, and love, so I invite you to sit still, breathe deep and be with me as we dive into the depths of: A Grief Explored.
